News reports (Feb 2026) said the city planned to replace the fixed heavy-trash schedule with an on-demand 311 call-in program starting March 2026 (up to 4 collections per address per year, picked up within ~5 working days of the scheduled date); verify current practice with 311, as the odd/even rotation may be superseded. Depository visit limit of 4 per month applies citywide.
