2025 residential monthly charge was $19.01; service starts automatically when water/electric service is activated with the Board of Public Utilities. Apartments and dwellings with 5+ units are served through the property owner/manager. A cart-based pilot program (96-gallon carts, single-driver WM trucks) is running in selected areas - pilot retains the same bulky-item and yard-waste allowances. Construction waste must be taken to the Johnson County Landfill. Collection delayed one day on six holidays (New Year's, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas).
